One form of Fine Art Photography is using a camera to record an image, with the intension to use it as the base within the artwork. The original image is enhanced and manipulated, reworked until it is transformed to represent the vision the artist wants to portray.
 

My name is Lindy Mitchell and as a multimedia artist I use this principle working with videography, photography, Al imaging, digital and pigment painting. I blur the lines between mediums. Sometimes my work blurs the lines between abstract and reality. Yet all of my landscape artwork portray real locations and moments in time. My portrait work is based on real people, past and present.
 

The subject is my focus, the mediums are tools, the process involved becomes a mediation to create the final image. The aim of my artwork is to convey the experience of being there or in the case of portraits, of being in the presence of.
 

viddha, is a Sanskrit word. When used in the context of art it means, the artwork is imbued with the essence of the subject. That is my ambition, which is why my studio/gallery's name is viddha.art.
 

My original artwork, open and limited edition prints are available for sale at the gallery or online. All artwork is signed, numbered and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
